New parishioners are kindly asked to register in the Rectory between 9 AM and 4 PM, or call Maria Rojas (Ext. 403).

 

Serving the Community at Large

·       Catholic Social Services: A social worker, Laura Caraballo, is present in the Rectory on Mondays and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

 

  • Housing Program: St. Joseph Carpenter Society provides housing opportunities for parishioners and other Camden residents.  Call Rosie Figueroa at (856)966-8117, Ext. 234, for more information.

 

·       Camden Churches Organized for People (CCOP): A group of city churches headquartered at 2770 Federal St. for the purpose of helping residents to solve some neighborhood and city-wide problems.

 

Parish Groups and Activities

·       Lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist: Please contact Sr. Margaret Mary Schmicker, O.S.F., (Ext. 402) for more information about volunteering for these important ministries.

 

·       Altar Servers: Please contact Sr. Margaret Mary Schmicker, O.S.F. (Ext. 419) if you are between the ages of 10-18 and you would like to serve at the altar.

 

·       St. Joseph’s Pros: Our Senior Citizen Group meets after the 9:00 AM Mass in the Romero Center every 4th Sunday.

 

·       St. Joseph Charismatic Prayer Group: Meets every Friday in the Chapel at 7:00 PM (Spanish).

 

·       PTA: An organization of parents which sponsors activities for the support and benefit of the school.

 

·       Youth Group: High school students meet every Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 PM for discussion and every Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 PM in the school gym. 

 

·       Legion of Mary: Meets on Saturday after the 8:30 am Mass in the Rectory.
