be happy to help you in any way. Our school is a beacon of light in the City of Camden. 

During this school year, we had many students who participated in activities and contests.    13 middle school students participated in the Coriell Institute Science Fair.  One student took 3rd place; 4 students received honorable mentions; and 2 students received cash awards for their project.  Students also received awards in poster and public service announcement contests.  2 students attended a Science program at Chestnut Hill College; 8th graders attended the Gloucester County Health Fair; and 27 students received scholarships to Perkins Summer Arts Camp.  There are a total of 17 students who participate in the Breakthrough program at St. Joseph University.  Our students placed 2nd in the State of New Jersey in the First in Math online skills program.  Our boys and girls basketball teams won the championship of the Camden City Catholic League. 














 
This fall, we will host a visiting team from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Elementary Schools.  We received accreditation 10 years ago and our faculty and staff has been working hard this past year to prepare a report for re-accreditation.  We hope to install SMARTboard integrative technology in all of our classrooms in the near future.  We have formed a partnership with the other Catholic schools in the city of Camden and look forward to working with the Catholic School Partnership to improve all aspects of our school. 

Our theme for this year is "St. Joseph's School: A Beacon of Light in the City of Camden... Lighting the Way to Excellence".
