ST. JOSEPH PRO-CATHEDRAL
It our parish religious education program offered for children who attend non-Catholic schools from preschool through 8th grade. The program is led by volunteer catechists as stewards of faith.
Requirements

Must be 7 years of age or older.

Have been baptized in the Catholic Faith.

Attend catechetical classes for the time indicated by the parish in order to receive the Sacrament.

Parents must be registered in the parish and be active members.

Students are instructed in the Sacrament of Penance before First Holy Communion; and are given the opportunity to go to First Confession before 1st holy communion​

Parents are expected to support the children in their preparation of the sacraments, and attend the parent classes.​

Following Canonical Law, the children will not need a “Godparents” to receive the sacrament of Communion.
Registration
1. A completed registration form signed by the parents. If you have the legal custody of your child, you must bring the Court Documentation.

2. NEED to bring:

Birth Certificate

Baptism Certificate​
3. Payment for Faith Formation classes (based on current fees). Payment can be made in the form of cash, check or Credit Card at the Parish Office.

4. Only the parent or guardian should register the child.

Grandparents, aunts, uncles or relatives are not allowed to enroll the child, unless they are the legal guardians authorized by a court.
